The Fripp Island Marina is located on Old House Creek, a few miles
from the Intracoastal Waterway.
The Marina offers many services and conveniences, including an in-out
ramp service. There are gasoline and diesel services, and a pump-out
station. Other available services are docking assistance, and boat
cleaning.
If you would like to leave your boat at Fripp Island, the marina has 65
wet slips, and 120 dry slips for long-term storage. For details, fee
information, etc., call the Marina Store.
The Marina Store offers restrooms and showers, live and frozen bait,
tackle, sunscreen, ice, and drinks, as well as sandwiches and salads in
the deli.
Charter Services are available for offshore or inshore fishing, with an
experienced charter guide. Lots of varieties of fish can be caught in the
Gulf Stream, including sailfish, barracuda, and marlin. Inshore, catch
trout, flounder, cobia, and Spanish mackerel.
Charter boats may be arranged at the Marina Store or at Fripp Island
Excursions, located in the Marina Village
Fishing, crabbing, and shrimping are allowed in all salt water areas off
Fripp Island. These are popular recreational activities on the island that
do not require a permit or license as long as what you catch is used for
personal consumption only. However, you are required to have a permit
or license when any of the activities listed above are conducted from a
boat. Please note that oyster and clam gathering should be done in
designated areas only because regulations change frequently. Consult the
Marina for the latest information.
